Electrical-Safety-Testing

Australian Businesses need to ensure the electrical safety in the workplace to meet Electrical Safety and WHS regulations. These safety regulations require electrical testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment to meet Australian Standards.

To meet current Australian standard, AS/NZS 3760:2010, a specialised and qualified technician is required to conduct the electrical testing and tagging of portable electrical appliances in the workplace. The process involves both an electrical test and a comprehensive visual test on all appliances. This can be completed by our specialised and qualified technicians.

Visual Testing
A visual check is completed by our technician including inspection of supply cords, plugs, appliances, sockets, covers and guards.

Electrical Testing
As per AS/NZS 3760:2010 standard, the following electrical tests will be completed by our technician:

  1. Insulation Resistance
  2. Leakage Current Testing
  3. Polarity
  4. Earth Resistance
